Small decisions, measured carefully, at scale.
We treat sustainability as an operating discipline, not a marketing exercise. That means measurable targets, auditable numbers and a willingness to publish the parts that are not going well.
Where we concentrate our effort.
Carbon reduction
Absolute emissions targets aligned with science-based frameworks, verified annually by an independent auditor. Our roadmap prioritises real reductions over offsets, with offsets used only as a residual step.
Renewable energy adoption
We build long-term relationships with wind, solar and hydro generators, and publish the projects behind our tariffs so customers can trace their electricity to a real, certified source.
Environmental responsibility
Beyond electricity, we track water, materials, e-waste and supplier impact — because our footprint is more than kilowatt-hours.
Energy efficiency
Our tools help customers cut waste first. A kilowatt-hour not consumed is the cleanest one there is, and typically the cheapest for everyone involved.
Future innovation
Long-horizon research into materials, storage and transmission that could unlock deeper decarbonisation in the 2030s and beyond.
Community & equity
Community solar programmes, education partnerships and equitable tariff design in the markets where we operate.
Three commitments we're publicly accountable to.
1 · Traceable electricity
Every retail kilowatt-hour matched to certified renewable generation across our portfolio, publicly disclosed.
2 · Net-zero operations by 2035
Scope 1 and 2 net-zero across our operations, with a credible plan for Scope 3.
3 · Open, honest reporting
Annual sustainability disclosures, including areas of underperformance, published in plain language.
